Canadian orders
Hello Canadians! Due to the many questions I've received over the years, I've created this page to address any issues prior to placing an order or sending me a message.
**Shipping Update - Due to the Canada Post Strike, I have switched to offering UPS temporarily. Rates are linked directly to UPS rate tables and are based on weight and destination.
Shipping: The shipping rates are direct from the United States Postal Service and do not include any markups or handling fee. The rates start at $18 USD for the first 8 ounces and go up from there. I ship in padded mailers and boxes with tracking. The products I sell need protection during shipping and therefore cannot ship in a flat 6x9 envelope.
Customs: Your country may flag your order and request you pay for customs fees. I am not responsible for these fees. You can look up what these fees may be within your country. By placing an order you agree to pay customs fees should your country require them.
Time in transit: Once I ship your order I have no control over how long it takes to be delivered. On average you can expect your order to take 2 to 4 weeks to arrive. This time will increase during the holidays.
Package Delivery: Your order will be handed off to Canada Post once it clears customs at the border. Any issues with your package must be handled by you with Canada Post. Provide them with your tracking #. If they are unable to locate your package, then reach out to me.
Shipping Carrier: I ship via the U.S. postal service. I have tried other carriers and the custom's/brokerage fees were too high. After too many complaints I am sticking with USPS to Canada Post.
USD to CAD: I ship from the United States and sell in USD. The conversion rate of USD to CAD changes daily. Please check the rates within your country or with your credit card company prior to placing an order. I do not make any extra money on international orders and am charging the same prices that U.S. residents pay.
Coupons: I offer coupons from time to time. Please sign up for my newsletter on my site. I do not hand out coupons when asked. I send out coupons when I have a planned promotion.
Social Media: Please do not message product, order, or tracking questions through Instagram or Facebook. Please make all inquiries through my website.
Tracking: Once your order ships you will be emailed a tracking #. This tracking # only works with usps.gov while your package is still within the United States. Once your package crosses the border you will need to track with Canada Post's website.
